Steak Cooking Tip 101

Steak Temperatures...

Who loves the perfectly cooked steak? I know I sure do. I absolutely love a well cooked steak, and oftentimes when I go out to eat I am always a little disappointed. Maybe it’s because I am super picky on my steak but also because if I pay good money for a steak I definitely want it to be right!

Often times I get asked alot of questions on how to cook the perfect steak. Here are some tips I want to leave you to cook the perfect steak anytime of the year!

I love cooking my steak on a cast iron if I don’t have the grill warmed up or its in the dead of winter. I like to turn the cast iron onto a medium to high heat add lots of butter. You can’t go light on the butter! I usually like to sear them pretty good on both sides for about 3-4 minutes depending on how done you like them!

The most crucial part when you are cooking a steak is to let it rest for at least 5 minutes before cutting into it!
