Beef and Cabbage soup to die for

It is definitely soup season around here. The colder weather, crock pot season, just throwing stuff in the ole gal and letting her marinate yummy goodness for supper yeah.. that is my kind of cooking especially on cold days. Its nice to come home and dinner’s all prepared! Here is what ya do

Brown 1 pound of hamburger with 1 onion sauted, 3-4 cloves of garlic. They just need to be chopped up or if your feeling lazy you can sub for onion powder or garlic powder/salt. Slice cabbage lengthwise, add one large can of tomatoes, a can of dices green chilies. Slow cook for 5+ hours and come home to a delicious soup. I added a tablespoon of ham bouillon to give it a little bit of bacon flavor as well! Also add 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of pepper. I know that seems like a lot but I am a bigger seasoner! You might have to add a little water to it but don’t over fill!

Its absolutely delicious and super simple. Everyone will love it.
